At the Mountain Lakes Medical Center Pain Management Clinic, we believe every patient deserves compassionate pain care, delivered with respect and dignity.  It is our goal to help you return to your normal activity as pain free as possible.

Our pain management care team is led by Dr. Jim Long.  Dr. Long received his M.D. degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Dr. Long completed his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pain Management at West Virginia University Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia.  He was also an assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Director of the Pain Clinic at West Virginia University Medical Center.  He is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Mountain Lakes Medical Center Pain Management Clinic provides treatment for many conditions including the following:

• Acute and chronic pain due to injury
• Sympathetic dystrophy
• Shingles (Herpes Zoster)

You may expect an evaluation by the physician and a treatment plan designed to your needs.  It may be recommended that you have one or more types of pain therapy.  Some of the most common treatments we provide include:
